Senator At Large Angel L. Bolques, Jr. expressed gratitude to the Committee on Budget, Appropriations, and Finance for their strong support of Bill No. 35-0272. The bill introduces key amendments to the Virgin Islands Code, increasing the motor vehicle rental surcharge from $3.75 to $5.00, primarily affecting tourists. The bill now moves to the Committee on Rules and Judiciary for further consideration.
